We are an excellent location for State Fair
visitors as the State Fair grounds are at the very east edge of Des Moines
and there is a four lane highway directly east, all the way to Prairie City.
There is much to do within a half hour's drive from us. There is an
excellent restaurant for evening meals within 3 miles of us and we
are within two miles of the Neal Smith National Wild Life Refuge and Learning
Center.
We had a
