Southeast Iowa has a new multiplex - it's in Ottumwa, Iowa, at the intersection of Quincy and Highway 34 (technically, 1215 Theater Drive). The eight screens show major new releases and there is generally at least one film geared to children. You can call (641-682-4935) to learn what's playing and when.

Faeth Orchards and Historic District in Fort Madison is home to one of the oldest orchards in Iowa, family owned and operated for more than 150 years. Listed on the Iowa State Historical Register and the National Register of Historic Places. Enjoy seasonal produce, apple cider, "heritage" varieties of apples and the centerpiece 1883 historic barn, home to some friendly barnyard animals.

Englert Theatre - Since its construction in 1912, the Englert Theatre has been a cultural landmark and a downtown entertainment venue. The restored  theater plays host to a variety of live performances. Visitors enjoy the Englert's sense of history, along with its entertainment offerings, which feature the artistic talents of locals.

Trainland USA - This operating toy train museum depicts a cross-country tour of the U.S.A., featuring 25 Lionel "O" gauge trains running on 4,000 feet of track, covering 2,600 square feet of display area.

Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge - 8000 acres of tallgrass prairie and oak savanna, the native plant and animal communities. Located near Prairie City, Iowa on Highway 163 in Jasper County.
