Ragbrai is the Registers’ Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa. RAGBRAI is the longest, largest and oldest touring bicycle ride in the world. It is held annually in late July.  Registration has already started and is due by April 1.  RAGBRAI is limited to 8,500 week-long riders and 1,500 daily riders.

Beeds Lake State Park - A two-mile trail provides a unique hiking experience for visitors as it follows the shoreline around Beed's Lake. This trail may be utilized by hikers, bicyclists, cross-country skiers and joggers.

A number of national bike tours use NE Iowa secondary roads to plan trips. The Lincoln Hotel is at the Junction of Herbert Hoover Hwy and old Lincoln Highway, both of which are on these bike tours.
