fireplace or 'tickle' the ivories of the restored Welte-Mignon parlor grand. You
may also picnic in the park and enjoy the view of the 'MIGHTY MISSISSIPPI'. Our

Our history is interesting as the land belonged to
John and Louella Parsons (of Hollywood fame) in 1910. Built around 1912 by the
editor and publisher of the Burlington Gazette (Iowa's oldest). We purchased it
in 1972 and after massive renovations moved in. Come and enjoy the history of
our land and the comfort of its surroundings.
