Gift Certificate Program

If you are a current paid member, here is the instructions for accepting and redeeming an IBBIA Gift Certificate.

• No blackout dates, No expiration dates, and No hidden processing fees.
• Any IBBIA member can accept these gift certificates and they will be reimbursed. 
• Certificates should be used based upon room availability.
• Gift Certificates have no expiration date.

MEMBERS BE AWARE: Make sure the Gift Certificate is issued by IBBIA, we do not reimburse for other organizations!   Also, it is important that you not accept a reservation using a gift certificate at a time when you are not a paid member!  This Gift Certificate Program is for active/paid members of IBBIA.

Message to IBBIA Members:  As a Program participant, you, the Innkeeper, agree to be bound by the Terms listed below; and your possession or acceptance of a Program Gift Certificate will indicate your acceptance of these Terms. When used in these Terms, the words "you" and "your" refer to you, the Innkeeper.

1. This program is currently available to all the IBBIA members.  The IBBIA Executive Board reserves the right to remove a property from the program at any time for any reason. Property will receive a written notice.
2. Members accepting IBBIA Gift Certificates will honor Program Gift Certificates at all times, for full face value, without restrictions, as payment for all "qualifying services" (i.e. lodging, meals, special packages, gift shop items, taxes, gratuities, service charges, etc.) that you offer. You will charge the same prices to Program Gift Certificate holders as your posted and publicly advertised rates and offers and will accept reservations from Program Gift Certificate holders on the same basis as you would from all other guests. Program Gift Certificates are fully transferable.
3. You are not obligated to accept gift certificates in payment for large group functions, such as weddings.
4. You will not discriminate in any manner against guests or potential guests holding Program Gift Certificates. You will provide professional quality services and products to all guests and will comply with all laws and regulations applicable to your business.
5. You will review all Program Gift Certificates/cards presented by guests to confirm that they are authentic and valid based on IBBIA's guidelines.
6. All IBBIA Gift Certificates are priced in U.S. Dollars.

STEPS MEMBERS MUST TAKE TO RECEIVE REIMBURSEMENT:

1. Make sure the name of your member property, along with contact information, appears somewhere on the Gift Certificate.  If you write it in, be sure you print neatly.  Be sure to include a phone number.

2. Mail the Gift Certificate to: IBBIA, P.O. Box 171, Spencer, IA 51301.
