July. It is a celebration of our Scandinavian heritage and traditions.

Vesterheim
Museum - This Norwegian-American museum is one of the premier
Ethnic museums in the world. The Vesterheim Museum contains a great deal
of immigrant artifacts from early clothing and housing of our first
European settlers to the ships that braved the ocean. Special shows,
classes and seminars are frequently held at the museum.

Museum - This stately Victorian home built of native brick in
1867 stands as a reminder of a golden age in Decorah history, and as a
memorial to lifetime resident, Adelbert Field Porter, a collector and
