bulletNordic Fest - The Nordic Fest is held annually during the last full weekend in July.  It is a celebration of our Scandinavian heritage and traditions.  This weekend is packed full of ethnic foods, dancing, craft shows, parades, fireworks and more!
bullet Vesterheim Museum - This Norwegian-American museum is one of the premier Ethnic museums in the world.  The Vesterheim Museum contains a great deal of immigrant artifacts from early clothing and housing of our first European settlers to the ships that braved the ocean.  Special shows, classes and seminars are frequently held at the museum.

Local Trails - The Oneota hiking & biking trail, formerly "Dug Road" (our name sake), is a delightful river side trail with serine views of nature, wildlife and water tubers rolling down the Upper Iowa river.

Decorah City Trails are a series of connecting trails mostly paralleling the Upper Iowa River through Decorah.
