IBBIA Honors...
As we are thankful to
those who generously give of their time and effort to promote and
service IBBIA members, it was time to honor them. These were the
highlights.
The granting
of our prestigious Appreciation Award was given to Amelia
Painter, our Web Site Director, for her continual generosity of helpful
service to all of us. Amelia's extraordinary teaching skills, whether
directed to a group or an individual, has improved our web site
marketing understanding. She has given mountains of volunteer time
answering our emails, guiding us through our internet challenges, and
her written response-driven press releases have gone out
nationally. Amelia's graphic designer skills have made our two
e-newsletters, one for members, another for our consumers, a tool for
putting IBBIA on the cutting-edge of marketing. Two-dozen red roses and
two large engraved stepping stones for her beloved garden expressed our
gratitude.
Amelia, Jerry and Mary Phillips became our very first Honorary Members
by the presenting of our IBBIA member pins. Mary Phillips was presented
with a signed copy of our Discover Iowa, Travel Guide & Cookbook.
Board members bestowing all the honors.
Board
Members were honored for their yearly service by the giving of a gift to
each one. The pride of knowing these individuals and sincerity of our
honors brought moments of reflection of IBBIA's progress Moving Forward
in 2006.
