Cooking Demonstrations, Grape Stomping,
During the Okoboji Winter Games
will want to get your reservation in early for this annual event!
Cooking with Donna has become as
popular locally as some of the Food Network shows. Each year during
Okoboji Winter Games, Donna Muilenburg, innkeeper at
the Okoboji Country Inn, welcomes a packed house in Annabelle's Tea Room. For the 2013
Okoboji Winter Games held in January, Donna
featured recipes from the IBBIA cookbook, The Best of Iowa Bed and Breakfast Recipes.

Festival at the Little Swan Lake Winery and B&B
Harvest Festival will take place
annually. The big outdoor Harvest Festival
includes buffalo chip throws and a meal featuring buffalo burgers as
well. The Grape Stompede hours are usually 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Visitors get to experience the fun of stomping the grapes.
Included with the grape stomping is usually a
grape spitting contest, a buffalo chip toss, free live music,
homemade buffalo burgers and beautiful views. All ages are welcome
to participate in the various festivities throughout the day. (No
admittance charge, but visitors buy their own food and drinks.)
Little Swan Lake Winery and B&B is a family-owned
and operated business. It is located north of Superior, between
Spirit Lake and Estherville. Learn more at:
